Paths Lead To Great Real Estate
You know one of the things that I think is really neat to see is the cultural differences between the City and the Town. Right now I’m standing in a place that’s underground, there’s a lot of shops and stores – there’s hairdresser’s there’s banks. It’s a place of commerce. It’s unbelievable. In Cobourg, when you move to Cobourg we call this place a ‘mall’ but here in Toronto they call it a ‘Path.’ Now when you get to town this is a path. It’s a place that connects two streets that cars aren’t allowed. When we were kids we used to call it a shortcut.
This is one kind of path we have. We also have this kind of path. And this is a path at the end of Tremaine Terrace, at the west end of town. It follows the Cobourg Creek as it leads into Lake Ontario and down at the bottom there’s a stone beach. You can come down and throw stones there’s a lagoon you can wade into with your kids. We’ve done both of those things, it’s a lot of fun.
Now you may choose to be on the Path in Toronto, on your lunch, or on a Saturday or Sunday, take the family in for fun and just see how other people live and you may choose to be on this path, for you family, for your kids to grow up in this environment or for yourself, to bring a little sanity back into your life at the end of a busy day. To remind yourself why you work so hard – this is one of those rewards. The beautiful part of it is you don’t have to choose you can have both. It’s not as hard as you might think and I’d love to have an opportunity to show you how easy it can be.
